Genco Energy Ltd was formed in 2006, its first assignment was to facilitate a joint venture between a major Australian CSM explorer and a private New Zealand Oil and Gas company.
Subsequently Genco Energy Ltd has grown into a specialist group servicing the Global Gas Power Generation Industry specialising in Project Management, Project Recovery, Generation Equipment Valuations & Brokerage and New Generation Development:
Since mid 2006 Genco has been directly responsible for the successful completion of USD $469 Million of new Power Generation projects – all completed on budget, to schedule.
Our projects primarily involve either:
- Natural Gas, including diesel backup
- Landfill Gas (LFG)
- Coal Seam Methane (CSM)
- Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)
- Both Gas Turbine and Reciprocating Generation plant.
Current & previous projects have a history in New Zealand, Australia, Southern Africa and Europe.
Genco also runs a specialist international Project Recovery team, where we are called on to turn around projects which have descended into critical cost or schedule difficulty.
