Due to the commercially sensitive nature of projects requiring recovery, we do not publicly disclose these projects.
How do you approach Project Recovery?
10 / 30 / 60 / 90 day analysis and report assessments with recommendations to the client on the overall recovery plan.
We would however normally have the full recovery team mobilised by day 30.
Once a project recovery is complete are you required to hand the project back to the original project managers?
Historically it is not uncommon for the client to request us to remain on the project and manage it through to completion and handover.
During a project recovery do you or the client normally involve the original Project Management team?
In most cases not directly.
What does Genco consider the biggest impediment to a successful Project Recovery outcome?
Normally an under quoted fixed price project. Everything else that can go wrong in a project we can normally overcome.
